Tofino Bear Watching Adventures
No trip to the West Coast would be complete without catching sight of a black bear! We offer safe and informative opportunities to bear watch from the calm inlet waters in both Tofino and Ucluelet.
Abundant to the West Coast of Vancouver Island, the Black Bear makes its presence known when the tides are low. These Canadian icons roam the shores of BC in search of their favorite delicacy, the Rock Crab. These moments offer grand opportunities to view the bears in their natural habitat. Join us in the comfort of our 24-foot zodiac or 45 foot semi-covered zodiac on our guided bear watching tours. Departures times change daily and are based on low tides. Don't forget your camera for those unique coastal wildlife shots!
Tofino Bear Watching Tours
From Tofino we cruise through the calm, protected inlet waters of Clayoquot Sound in search of Black Bears and bear cubs as they roam the shores in search of their favorite delicacy, the Rock Crab. View this magnificent creature in it’s natural habitat from the comfort of our 45’ panoramic bear watching cruiser, the Stellar Sea.

Ucluelet Bear Watching Tours
Tours departing from Ucluelet travel through the waters surrounding Ucluelet Harbour in Barkley Sound in search of Black Bears. The bears are most commonly found on the beaches searching for rock crab and also near the fish hatchery looking for salmon. View this magnificent creature in it’s natural habitat from the safety of our 29’ zodiac on this unique bear watching trip.
