Banff / Kananaskis Full Day Guided Hike

Explore the incredible beauty of Kananaskis Country in the Canadian Rockies with your professional hiking guide. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you partake in a 4-5 hour hike that can range from a relaxed stroll through mountain valleys to more challenging hiking trails... whichever you prefer based on your skill level! Learn about the history, geography, geology, flora and fauna of the Rockies, and enjoy a picnic lunch, included in your day, while overlooking the pristine lakes and alpine meadows nestled amongst the mountain sides.

 

Shuttle transportation to and the from the trails, trailside lunch and refreshments, bottled water, and knowledgeable and friendly guides who are trained in Advanced Wilderness First Aid are all included in your adventure so all you have to do is relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Don't forget your camera!

  • May to October
  • Duration 4-5 hours on trail, approximately 7.5 hours round trip
  • Departs at 9:30am from Seebe, AB, finishes at approximately 5pm
  • NO tour on Sundays in July, August, and September
  • Approximately 15 kms
  • Minimum of 4 people needed to run tour
  • Guide, lunch and transportation to/from trail included
  • $139 Adult (17+)
  • $129 Child (8 to 16 years old)
  • This hike is not recommended for children younger than 8
  • Prices in Canadian funds and do not include GST

Banff Call of the Wild Full Day Hike and Raft Combo

Follow the Call of the Wild! Start the day off by exploring the incredible beauty of Kananaskis Country located in the magnificent Canadian Rocky Mountains with your professional guide. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you partake in a 3 - 4 hour hike that can range from easy to energetic (i.e. from exploring a mountain valley to hiking up a mountain ridge depending on groups' skill level). Be captivated by the stories of the history, geography, geology, flora and fauna of the area. Ravenous from your hike, you will stop for a hearty picnic lunch by the Kananaskis River. After lunch you will be transported to the start of the Kananaskis River for your incredible white water rafting experience! Paddle, surf and play in the waves for 2 - 2.5 hours of fun! Finish off your incredible day with a complimentary refreshment and snack - celebrating your Call of the Rocky Mountain Wild!
