 The Drum Cafe Interactive Drumming
The Drum Café is a unique and highly memorable experience that will set a high energy tone for the whole meeting and create an excellent group atmosphere. A team of master facilitators and musicians entertain and teach the group how to play to the same beat and how to listen to each other in order to make music as a group. Why Drums? Drums and drumming are a great way to break down barriers, create common ground and teach people the value of listening and learning together.
Group drumming is all about sharing, about listening to each other and about playing to the same beat; it’s about building a community. Companies are made up of different rhythms; those rhythms may be made up of different departments such as sales, marketing, administration, development, accounts, management etc. But if those different rhythms can play to the same beat (same goals or same vision) and most of all listen to each other, then as a company you can make music. You have to have “teamwork” to make music together and barriers of age, culture, language and gender all disappear.
Participating in an exercise in communication, effective listening skills and the power of a truly synchronized team has great benefit for any business. It promotes the power of non-verbal communication and any feelings of isolation and dissent disappear, as the drumming experience bonds every participant in becoming a motivated group.

Drum Café is suited for any group size. We come to you and modify the program to your venue or location requirements. This is a low impact event with little physical activity required.
