Communication, creativity and collaboration are required to construct a quality build item for a local charity.
Play It Forward is a modern new twist on an old concept. Using a range of skills, teams work against the clock, to complete as many random acts of kindness as possible. The amazing feel good factor is what makes this a unique and memorable team building experience unlike any other!
You may have heard of "pay it forward" - an expression describing a selfless good deed. But Play It Forward takes it to the next level as a completely unique philanthropic team building activity that will have your teams working together for the benefit of others in your local community.
The concept is really simple – complete as many random acts of kindness as possible within a set time frame to earn points and climb up the live leaderboard. Using a small cash allowance, teams will need to work together in order to complete the challenges. They'll submit evidence in the form of photos and videos, right on their smartphone using our custom built app.
Challenges are fun, heart warming, and creative. They all focus on simple random acts of kindness that will literally amaze strangers and restore their faith in humanity. It's no walk in the park though - your teams will need to use their time and money wisely, work together strategically and demonstrate their ability to think outside the box.
Unlike many other team building activities, Play It Forward has that "feel good factor", which comes from taking time out to do things for others. Selfless good deeds often result in a positive chain reaction during and after the event. Your team will be amazed at how it's often the little things in life that make a big difference to others.
If you're looking for a really fresh, smart and fun activity, then Play It Forward is the perfect solution. Your team will appreciate taking time out of the office to get to know each other, while giving back to people in their local community. This activity has a massive bang for its buck as it positively impacts so many people in very special ways.
Play It Forward uses our custom-built smartphone application, making it suitable for groups of any size, in any location. During the activity, teams work together to sort through the long list of fun and wacky random acts of kindness that they access on their smartphone. The harder the challenge, the more points, so teams will need to think creatively and strategically to earn as many points as possible before the time runs out. Everything is automated and completed in real-time, which makes it an exciting, fun and entertaining activity. Teams will also have access to the live leaderboard and can see the activity unfold in their live stream –accessed right from the smartphone application.
Your colleagues are looking for a fun, rewarding and entertaining activity that will test their problem solving, time management and communication skills. They enjoy a challenge and friendly competition as part of an inclusive, supportive activity.

All the feedback I’ve heard has been really positive, and I’ve even received requests for more information from leaders who participated so that they can run the same exercise with their departmental teams.
