A Smart Phone scavenger hunt with intellectual riddles, physical challenges and a lot of entertainment for all.
Get out of the office with Urban Fear Factor. This budget-friendly scavenger hunt pushes boundaries and gets teams out of their comfort zones with fun and scary photo challenges.
Urban Fear Factor is an outrageous modern take on an old-school scavenger hunt, with a little Fear Factor mixed in! Challenge your team to compete in a friendly competition of daring missions and outrageous challenges. The activity will help your group discover their wild and creative sides, explore the local areas, and get to know their colleagues better.
On event day, teams receive entertaining and preposterous challenges right on their iPhone and Android devices. Participants can do a quick scan through the entire list, and decide which challenges to take on and when. Teams can rush through some of the seemingly easy ones to get warmed up, or head straight to the crazier ones to earn big points.
The completed photos are uploaded and can be viewed in real time by other teams, as well as via our online server. Each mission is worth points, and higher points are awarded based on the difficulty of the challenge. Sometimes the difficulty is how embarrassing or scary the challenge is to complete, while others might be difficult due to time constraints.
After all participants have arrived at the finish location, the highest scoring team will be declared the champions of Urban Fear Factor.
Urban Fear Factor is suited to any location and group size. The actual event course will be mostly outdoors, as teams complete challenges around the city. The activity focuses on communication, problem solving, strategy, and a real need to be creative. It’s a great way for individuals to work as a team and to get to know each other’s strengths. Urban Fear Factor is flexible, and can be tailored to meet your needs.
Your team has a sense of adventure and likes to experience something unique. “I already recommended your company to other offices within our company and to friends of mine. It is a great idea that is simple to use on a smartphone that makes for a lot of fun. We had a blast and may likely be back for something even more interactive in the future. Merci! - Select Wines (Montreal, QC)
“We booked Urban Fear Factor for our team building event. The weather was in our favour which was nice so we were able to tour the downtown area and complete our check-list. We were separated into 3 groups and everyone had a lot of fun. Lots of stories were told over dinner. - Bacardi (Burnaby, BC)
“Our activity was a hit! Your team did a great job. Your team was very professional and provided thorough planning with a back-up plan for weather (should it rain). Our facilitator was very good, energetic, and worked the crowd sufficiently. It was just right for our group. - CPP Investment Board (Toronto, ON)
