Save time and let us plan a memorable event for your group.
If your team enjoyed the popular Amazing Race reality TV show, they will love the Amazing Chase team building activity. Experience a virtual journey around the world and get to see the sights of the city. Travel through the orient, stopover in Paris then head south of the border while racing against the clock.
Teams visit popular tourist attractions and get to explore the city while working together in teams to solve clues. They will have to navigate through Route Markers, Road Blocks and Detours in a race against the clock. Each group collects points in pursuit of being crowned an Amazing Chase champion.
Using smartphone technology, participants will be guided by hosts and GPS markers, answer trivia questions, and record the experience in the form of photos and videos. Participants will also encounter challenges where they will need to "get inspection" from the hosts who will give them codes to unlock clues to their next challenge.
To rise to the top of the leaderboard teams must effectively use communication, problem solving, strategy and creativity. It is not enough to simply solve the challenges. Teams battle the clock in a race to the finish line in the entertaining and rewarding Amazing Chase team building activity.
High Tea. When in Britain, do as the British do and settle in for a spot of tea. But what to drink it in? Head to Granville Street downtown Vancouver, to collect discarded beverage containers. Before the Queen (Elizabeth Theatre), recreate the tower of London, stacking the containers exactly one meter high (no more, no less). Take a photo of your beverage stack next to the extended measuring tape as proof it’s the right height.
Tourist Attraction. This district is Vancouver’s oldest, yet this landmark is still so young. It requires the use of three electric motors in order to blow off some steam. Head to this historic landmark and take a photo of a teammate standing in front of it, then place the image of the Vancouver Canucks jersey on your teammate to make it a truly local photo.
Tourist Trapped. Complete the following quiz. Each question has a specific numerical answer. Enter in the answers in digit form in the exact order they were asked to pass this challenge. 1. This Calgary sculpture brightens up the plaza and symbolizes our city parks. Count the parks for your first answer. 2. These ladies never leave the plaza, how many gals do you see? 3. In what year was the “Bank” established? 4. In what year was the “les femmes sont des personnes” created?

"We were extremely happy with our Amazing Chase event overall. One of my favourite things was the way that people were able to get creative and have some fun problem solving! For the teams themselves I think getting exposure to others in our department that they do not work with day-to-day was a key!! It proved the old adage 'No one is good at everything, but everyone is good at something'. "

"Our Amazing Chase event was very well organized and expertly communicated. Your Canadian Outback Adventures & Events team all had a fantastic sense of humour and our interactions with them added to the enjoyment of the event. We appreciated having a training session that was activity based and interactive versus sitting in a meeting room. We really appreciated the opportunity to see and work with each other in a different environment. While working as a team, we learned to recognize others' differences and build on our individual strengths to enhance a team's performance."

"So it was a HIT - the team LOVED the race!! The Amazing Chase allowed for a perfect blend of teamwork and competition. The teams worked together, strategized, were challenged to be efficient, think outside the box and truly put to use the skills we want to see in the field. I can draw from this when trying to motivate the team in the future. I would absolutely do it again… the team had a fantastic time, the process and planning was seamless, and all I had to do was approve the expense - Thank you!"
"On behalf of JPMorgan Canada, I would like to thank the Canadian Outback Adventures & Events team for all your help arranging our Amazing Chase. Your team of race coordinators was well organized and very professional. The event gave us a chance to get to know one another in a fun social environment, sprinkled with some healthy competition and fresh air … a nice change from the boardroom! Plus, there’s nothing like comparing aching muscles to develop great team building relationships! Once again, thanks for all your help, and for making me look like a star."
