“The teamwork aspect of the event was certainly the best part in my view, giving each person on a team a specific role to play is key because at the end of the event all roles come together for the finished product. As a group, the key benefit was teaming people up who generally do not have the opportunity to work together. Overall the event was run very well and with excellent professionalism – I do believe we got value for the money.”

Choosing A Trip

Rivers and rapids are rated on an international scale which ranges from the easiest Class 1 to the near impossible Class 6. As the numbers get higher the difficulty and excitement of the rafting trip increases. Our goal is to provide our guests with the most enjoyable raft experience possible. With this in mind, the following chart will help you decide which of the rafting trips we offer is right for you and your family. More than 90% of our clients are first time rafters. As long as you weigh at least 90 lbs. (41 kg.) and are physically active (you have to paddle and help carry the rafts to and from the river), you can take part in our Intermediate trips.
Rivers Class Description
Athabasca Novice- Class 2 Great for families and apprehensive first time rafters.
Sunwapta or Fraser Intermediate- Class 3 For physically active first timers and experienced rafters looking for whitewater excitement.

We operate white water raft trips on two class 3 rivers: The Sunwapta River and the Fraser River. All rivers are unpredictable, with water levels fluctuating according to season and weather. These two great rivers are both located within a one hour drive of Jasper. Each day throughout the season we raft either the Fraser or Sunwapta River. Whichever river offers the best raft ride on any particular day, is the river we raft that day. So book either river and we'll pick the best river for your raft trip so we can guarantee a whitewater rafting adventure on a Class 3 river, from opening to closing day of the rafting season. A Unique rear mount rowing frame is used, giving our guides optimal control of our specially designed self-bailing rafts. These rafting trips do not require any previous experience and are suited for physically active individuals who weigh 90 lbs (41 kg) or more and are looking for an exhilarating river ride.
