“I really appreciated all the hard work and effort everyone put in. The staff’s energy at your Event Centre was amazing and they really helped rally the troops! I think it was just a fun day for friends and family which in our industry is a HUGE deal. The major benefit for our company was the chance for staff to unwind, get to know each other and just enjoy being outdoors. We absolutely received value for money. Canadian Outback was wonderful. With our thousands of changes in ideas, locations etc they were always available and up to the challenge. I think any corporation would benefit from their services.”

A world-class rafting expedition just a short drive from Vancouver!

Just a short drive from Vancouver and Whistler, this overnight wilderness rafting expedition features a two-day exploration of the stunning Elaho and Squamish River valleys. Throughout the trip, experience extraordinary views of the Tantalus Mountain Range with its many glaciers, spectacular waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. This exclusive adventure, not offered by any other outfitters in the region, is an ideal experience for families, corporate groups, and groups of friends looking for a quick 2 day expedition while in the Vancouver and Whistler area. To maximize the individual experience and minimize the impact on the environment, group sizes are limited.

As an avid fan of whitewater rafting I have had the opportunity to book trips through a number of different companies over the years. Your outfit by far provided one of the best rafting experiences I've had. From the trip itself, to the guides and staff, everyone went out of their way to ensure it was a truly memorable trip .”

Read what others who've been out rafting with us have to say about their experience

Day One -
You will challenge the exhilarating rapids of the Elaho River, the same route conquered by those participating on our popular Elaho Exhilarator river rafting trip. Our talented team of professional river guides will teach you the skills necessary to maneuver through these exciting Class 3-4 rapids including the challenging “Devil’s Elbow” section, used for Mark Burnett's 1996 Eco-Challenge Adventure Race.

Along with some of North America’s most exhilarating rapids, your 2-3 hour river journey will take you through approximately 16 kms (10 miles) of British Columbia’s most inspiring wilderness. Don’t forget to take time to reconnect with our world-class scenery including old growth forests, dormant volcanoes, towering glaciers, and stunning waterfalls that cascade hundreds of feet toward the river.

At the end of the Elaho Exhilarator route, (we do not stop like everyone else) we will continue our journey, for a few more miles down the river, until we reach our remote wilderness camp area. All your supplies for the overnighter will be packed tightly on our rafts. The evening is spent at a our campsite, complete with a sandy beach, and stunning views of the region. As night falls, while you are mingling with each other, or simply relaxing with a book, your guides will be busy preparing a delicious meal that you will be able to enjoy with your fellow adventurers. This is where the expression "getting away from it all" comes from.

Day Two -
Awake to the sound of the river, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a delicious breakfast. Your second river day, spent floating down the calm waters of the Squamish River, is much more gentle and serene. Enjoy the spectacular sights this river valley has to offer. From old growth forests, glaciers, dormant volcanoes, waterfalls, and a wide variety of wildlife, this is the type of scenery you'll see in very few other regions. Depending on water levels, you may have the chance to swim through rapids, and showcase your sense of balance in some of your guide's amusing challenges.

At the end of your river journey, we’ll take you back to our fully-equipped adventure base where you’ll be able to change back into your own clothes and unpack all your gear. Also, remember that great photos of your trip and other souvenirs, like rafting t-shirts will be available at our reception, so be sure to come by and ask us.

The intensity of a whitewater experience seems to double a person's distance from jobs, jammed highways, bustling cities, and workaday responsibility. It sharpens all senses, hones your physicality, deepens your ability to fully inhabit a moment, and take delight in the natural world. This year, take the plunge. Live stories worth telling.

“We were very impressed with all of the raft guides and their professionalism. We had the ride of a lifetime!”
