You already outperform, outwit and outplay your competitors, now let's see how you measure up to your fellow workmates! Ever wonder if you could find your way back to civilization if you were dropped off in the middle of the wilderness? When you complete this event, you will walk away with the skills and confidence to know you could be a survivor! Learn about the forest, its plants, the mountains and the region's history, all while you compete against your peers in this highly interactive event.

Outback Team Orienteering Challenges include entertaining and meaningful tasks focusing on precision, risk, problem solving, trust, creativity, and communication. These team challenges will test the group both mentally and physically. Each focuses on creative problem solving and emphasizes teamwork. Many of these events have been seen on Reality TV and in world-class Adventure Racing events. Members of each team learn a unique skill at the beginning of the event that is integral to the success of their team. With each team member proficient in a specific skill, teams will work together to navigate their way through a series of control points and challenges throughout the orienteering course. Upon completion of the course, teams are judged based on accuracy and creativity to determine an overall winner. It challenges team members to utilize many different types of information to form an overall strategy, which is efficient and best suited to their individual talents. Decision-making and teamwork, not physical speed, are required to excel.
