"During our Corporate Castaways event it was wonderful to have everyone actively involved. There was a mix of strength, logic, trivia, and strategy, which created balance in the teams and in everyone’s participation. Since this event brought associates from 11 Milestones locations together, it was a great opportunity to create a social setting for networking. I had feedback that people were afraid of the term "teambuilding" (eg. do I have to close my eyes and fall backwards?) but throughout the day, everyone agreed that it was a great event, a lot of fun, and they trusted each other without feeling pressure. If I may quote Mastercard, I would say the experience was priceless."

Watch the magnificent whales of Canada's West Coast!

No trip to the West Coast would be complete without experiencing whale watching! We offer guided whale watching trips in both Tofino and Ucluelet. Join us on a whalewatching tour in style on one of the west coast's large, luxury whale-watch vessels, the 65 foot 'Leviathan II' in Tofino or the 65 foot 'Lady Selkirk' in Ucluelet, BC. Whale watching is an adventure the whole family can enjoy!

We offer guaranteed sightings throughout our season. Most often viewed are the Pacific Gray Whale. The migration starts to show up along the coast of Vancouver Island in early February and continues through late April.  From April on through November, we have our 'Resident' Gray whales feeding in Clayoquot Sound and Barkley Sound. Humpback whales are also seen throughout our season, with the heaviest sightings in February, June, July, August and September.  We see Orca whales (Killer whales) as well! There are 12 pods of 'Transient' Orcas that we see about once every two to three weeks throughout the year.

FAQs

These whalewatching cruise tours are conducted in sheltered inlets as well as open ocean.  If you are prone to sea sickness, please use your favourite motion sickness medicine beforehand or ask for a set of 'Sea Bands' which work well.  As well, please be advised that it is often quite a bit colder on the water than on land.
