Whistler Cougar Mountain Family Snowmobile Tour

The Family Tour is specially designed for families. We will introduce you to the sport of snowmobiling in a safe, exciting and informative environment on Cougar Mountain.Once you have completed the snowmobile training, your guide will lead you on a journey through magnificent terrain including old growth forests, breathtaking views and the thrill of riding on frozen lakes. This tour stops at our backcountry yurt for a hearty soup and fresh bread from Whistler’s favourite local bakery. At the yurt children can also try driving our “Mini-Z” snowmobiles. Children 12 and under are free, one child may ride with the guide ($59 charge).

  • Beginners, families with small children, seniors, inexperienced drivers, double riders. Mixed terrain at slightly slower pace.

Carve your way through the remote backcountry of the Callaghan Valley to our rustic cabin (situated 5000 to 5500 feet in elevation) on Sproatt Mountain for a full Canadian Yukon breakfast. Cooked on an old fashioned wood stove, this skillet style mountain feast includes Canadian back bacon, Yukon gold potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, sauteed onions, and bell peppers along with pancakes and real maple syrup. After you have had your fill, rip it up on the frozen lake, or head off into the alpine before you descend back to reality.
